Job summary

Southland Industries invites students and new graduates to join its Internship and New College Graduate program, designed to provide immersive, hands-on experience in Design Engineering for HVAC, Plumbing and Fire Protection. Interns work with the design team on real projects and have visibility into career paths at one of the country's largest MEP building systems firms.

Responsibilities

• Assist Senior Engineers in design tasks and deliverables.
• Perform basic calculations for heating, cooling, sizing, and equipment selection under supervision.
• Coordinate design efforts with project management, architects, and other trades through to project completion.
• Review codes and field conditions to support design efforts.
• Produce and check CADD drafting work.
