Job summary

The Keystone Distinction Group seeks an experienced Mechanical Engineer to design, develop and maintain residential and commercial HVAC products across multiple platforms. The role aims for best-in-class performance and reliability while supporting manufacturing for existing products.

You will lead project work through development, conduct simulations and experiments, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with suppliers, sales and quality teams to meet project targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering with HVAC emphasis preferred.
• 5 years design & project experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and heat exchanger design.
• Hands-on lab/work with test stands and instrumentation.
• Experience with NPD, DFSS and DFMA principles.
• EPA Section 608 Refrigerant Certification - Universal is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, optimize and qualify HVAC systems for residential and commercial products.
• Lead product qualification and agency compliance test programs.
• Manage individual projects and engineering requests through the product development cycle.
• Document designs with BOMs, drawings, and product change notifications.
• Interface with vendors, customers, and cross-functional teams.
