Job summary

Baker Distributing is seeking a Driver/Warehouse Associate to deliver HVAC goods to customers and Sales Centers, while maintaining warehouse operations between routes. You will represent the company with professionalism and ensure accuracy in loading, unloading, and invoicing.

The role requires at least 1 year of truck driving, a valid DOT medical certificate, and strong customer service and safety awareness in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Minimum 1 year truck driving experience.
• Box Truck delivery experience.
• A valid DOT medical certificate is required prior to employment.
• Must meet DOT physical qualification standards, with reasonable accommodations.
• CDL license is highly desirable.
• Warehouse experience, including forklift/appliance lift, is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service, problem-solving, and relationship-building.
• Ability to communicate in English to comply with safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products safely to customers and other Sales Centers.
• Daily loading and unloading of products for delivery.
• Collect invoices with signatures and return to Sales Center Manager.
• Assist in warehouse with inventory counts, picking and order verification.
• Maintain truck and workspace clean and organized; follow safety procedures.
• Adhere to all company safety protocols and PPE requirements.
• Report safety hazards or incidents to management.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely where required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
