Job summary

Baker Distributing is seeking a Driver Warehouse Associate to safely deliver HVAC goods and materials to customers and other locations. You will also manage warehouse tasks between deliveries, maintaining inventory accuracy and adhering to safety procedures.

The role requires a valid DOT medical certificate, at least 1 year of truck driving experience, and strong customer service skills. CDL is a plus, and forklift experience is beneficial.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
• 1 year of truck driving experience.
• Box Truck delivery experience preferred; CDL desirable.
• DOT medical certificate required prior to employment.
• Must meet DOT physical qualifications with reasonable accommodations.
• Warehouse experience including forklift is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Represent Baker Distributing as a leader in service and safety.
• Daily loading and unloading of products for delivery to customers or Sales Centers.
• Collect invoices with signatures and return to Sales Center Manager.
• Assist in Warehouse with inventory counts, picking and order verification.
• Maintain daily truck maintenance checklist and report in/out times with returns.
• Follow safety protocols and wear PPE; report hazards immediately.
• Participate in safety training and drills; ensure proper handling and storage of products.
• Operate truck and warehouse equipment safely; keep truck/workspace clean and organized.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
