Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 1-year truck driving experience.
• DOT medical certificate required prior to employment.
• Ability to meet DOT physical qualification standards with accommodations.
• CDL license is highly desirable.
• Warehouse experience including forklift/appliance lift is a plus.
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Interest in continuous learning and leadership.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar tools; assistive technologies may be used.
• Excellent customer service mindset with long-term relationship development.

Responsibilities

• Represent Baker Distributing Company as a leader in the industry.
• Daily loading and unloading of products for delivery to customers and/or other Sales Centers.
• Collect invoices with proper signatures and return to Sales Center Manager.
• Assist in the Warehouse with inventory counts, picking and verifying orders.
• Maintain daily truck maintenance checklist and track in/out times with merchandise returns.
• Adhere to safety protocols and report hazards immediately.
• Participate in safety training sessions and drills.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of products to prevent accidents.
• Operate truck and warehouse equipment safely; keep truck/workspace clean and organized.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
