Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience with HVAC equipment in a wholesale distribution setting is preferred.
• Customer service and sales experience is beneficial.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Represent Baker Distributing Company as a leader in the industry, driving maximum sales.
• Interact with internal and outside salespeople, vendors and contractors.
• Maintain showroom merchandising and restock products.
• Assist in resolving customer relations problems with dealers and end users.
• Complete sales order process and upsell related items.
• Serve walk-in and telephone customers and help with sourcing and shipping parts.
• Research product needs via computer, catalog, or reference sources.
• Arrange stock on shelves and keep merchandise orderly.
• Apply upselling techniques to customers.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and wear PPE.
• Report hazards and participate in safety training.
• Keep a clean and organized workspace.
• Follow guidelines for safe handling and storage of products.
