The role requires at least 1 year in counter sales within HVAC, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and customer focus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong communication skills and customer service/sales background with HVAC parts experience.
• Minimum 1+ year experience in Counter Sales, preferably in HVAC.
• Knowledge of air conditioning, heating and ventilation equipment at wholesale distribution level.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Represent Baker Distributing Company as a leader in the industry, driving maximum sales.
• Interact with internal and outside salespeople, vendors, and contractors.
• Merchandise showroom and restock products as needed.
• Assist in resolving customer relations problems with dealers and end users.
• Process sales orders and upsell associated items to customers.
• Service walk-in and telephone customers and assist with sourcing and shipping parts.
• Research product needs via computer system, catalog, or reference sources.
