In this role you will keep the showroom stocked, coordinate with vendors, and assist with sourcing parts while maintaining safety and organization in a busy environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s preferred.
• Experience with HVAC equipment in a wholesale distribution setting.
• Strong customer service, problem-solving, and relationship-building.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• English proficiency for safety standards and training compliance.

Responsibilities

• Represent Baker Distributing Company to maximize sales at the counter.
• Interact with internal and outside sales, vendors, and contractors.
• Maintain showroom merchandising and restock products.
• Resolve customer issues and service dealers and end users.
• Process sales orders and upsell related items.
• Assist customers with sourcing, inventory control, and warranty administration.
• Provide product information via computer, catalog, or phone.
• Organize shelves and keep merchandise in order.
• Follow safety protocols and use PPE.
• Support safety training and maintain a clean workspace.
• Handle outgoing customer calls and inquiries as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
