You will handle orders, process payments, maintain displays, stock shelves, and support branch operations while upholding safety and customer-first standards.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of heating and cooling systems is preferred but not required.
• Excellent verbal communication skills with the public and/or customers.
• Strong attitude and interpersonal skills to service customers in branch or on the phone.
• Proficiency with computer systems and Prophet 21.
• Basic math skills and understanding of markup and gross margin effects.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast and friendly customer service following 'Customer First' standards.
• Greet customers and maintain a positive attitude at the branch.
• Enter customer orders in the system the same day they are received.
• Pull orders from warehouse and load into delivery truck or staging area.
• Prepare invoices, CODs, vendor purchase orders, and shipping paperwork.
• Process payments and handle returns with proper procedures.
• Maintain clean self service area, restock displays, and support branch marketing.
• Locate products for customers and provide delivery updates and backorder info.
• Report safety issues and accidents to supervisor promptly.
• Operate warehouse duties and general housekeeping as needed.
