Ferguson Enterprises, Inc. is hiring a Counter Sales Associate in Oklahoma City. You will assist plumbing and HVAC contractor customers, act as a product expert, and help them select the right parts and solutions.

You will engage customers at the counter, on the phone, and by email to understand needs, promote programs, and drive sales while ensuring accurate transactions and excellent service.

Qualifications

• 0–3 years of experience in customer service or sales preferred.
• 1+ years of HVAC product knowledge preferred.
• Bilingual preferred.
• Sales mindset with ability to meet goals, build relationships, and influence purchasing decisions.
• Strong communication skills for consultative selling and customer engagement.
• Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to learn new systems quickly and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers proactively at the counter, on the phone, and via email to understand their needs and recommend solutions.
• Serve as a product expert by applying knowledge of plumbing, HVAC and related products to guide customer decisions.
• Drive sales growth by identifying opportunities to upsell, cross-sell, and promote strategic products and programs.
• Utilize catalogs and computer systems to locate parts and provide accurate, timely information.
• Process transactions efficiently while ensuring a positive customer experience.
• Collaborate with Outside Sales to support account growth and service delivery.
• Manage special orders and follow up on status, back-orders, and delivery timelines.
