Clear Destination Inc. seeks an energetic Counter Sales Associate to engage customers at the counter, by phone, and via email to understand needs and recommend HVAC and plumbing solutions.

You will act as a product expert, upsell strategically, and collaborate with Outside Sales to grow accounts while processing transactions accurately and maintaining a tidy, safe counter environment.

Qualifications

• 0–3 years of experience in customer service or sales
• Prior experience in HVAC or related industry an asset
• Bilingual preferred
• Sales mindset with ability to meet goals and influence purchasing decisions
• Strong communication skills for consultative selling and engagement
• Self-motivated, results-oriented, able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Digital literacy and ability to learn new systems quickly
• Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

Responsibilities

• Engage customers proactively at the counter, on the phone, and via email to understand their needs and recommend solutions.
• Serve as a product expert by learning and applying knowledge of plumbing, HVAC and related products to guide customer decisions.
• Drive sales growth by upselling, cross-selling, and promoting strategic products and programs.
• Utilize catalogs, computer systems, and manufacturer databases to locate parts and provide accurate information.
• Process transactions accurately while ensuring a positive customer experience.
• Collaborate with Outside Sales Associates to support account growth and seamless service.
• Manage special orders and follow up on order status, back-orders, and delivery timelines.
• Maintain a professional, organized counter environment reflecting our commitment to quality and service.
• Assist with inventory management, cycle counts, and stock organization.
• Adhere to all safety regulations including PPE as required.
