Robert Madden Industries in Midland, TX is seeking a dedicated HVAC Counter Sales Associate to deliver exceptional customer service and technical guidance in a busy HVAC supply environment. You will process orders, upsell products, and assist with inventory while maintaining safety and accuracy.

The role requires strong HVAC knowledge, excellent communication, and a customer-centric approach, with training provided on products and promotions. This is a full-time on-site position.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of HVAC products, equipment, and components.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Customer-centric attitude with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
• Proficiency in using POS systems and basic computer software.
• Physical ability to lift and move moderately heavy items.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and establish a positive rapport to create a customer-centric atmosphere.
• Listen to inquiries, understand HVAC-related needs, and provide accurate information.
• Offer expert advice using HVAC product specifications and applications.
• Process customer orders using the POS system with delivery or pickup times.
• Address technical queries and troubleshoot common HVAC challenges.
• Identify opportunities to upsell complementary HVAC products and accessories.
• Maintain inventory levels and assist with receiving shipments.
• Keep the store organized and product-accessible.
• Maintain records of customer interactions, sales, and inventory updates.
• Uphold safety protocols when handling HVAC products.
• Participate in service training, parts training, and online training.
• Learn and promote ongoing promotions during limited-time offers.
