Job summary

United Refrigeration, Inc. is seeking a customer service-oriented associate to greet customers, answer phones, and provide knowledgeable support. You will process orders accurately, suggest complementary products, and handle invoicing and stock replenishment using the computer system.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of heating, air conditioning and refrigeration.
• Willingness to learn United's product offerings and the wider industry.
• Attend product seminars provided in-house and by trade education groups (RSES, ACCA, ARW, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and courteously by name (if known).
• Answer telephones promptly identifying yourself and the company.
• Provide professional and knowledgeable assistance to customers.
• Provide accurate and timely execution of customer orders, requests and other services.
• Enhance customer orders by suggesting additional products.
• Use computer to perform invoicing, credits, returns, and procurement/replenishment, and cash box reconciliation.
• Load and unload vehicles using proper equipment.
• Break down and put away stock.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
• Participate in After Hours Emergency Call rotation to assist customers when the branch is closed.
