Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Building Automation Engineer in Atlanta to perform Master Systems Integration of BMS, build control databases, and create user interfaces. You will work on-site and remotely to support installers and customers, and lead commissioning tasks from startup to final testing.

This role is part of the Software Engineering function and requires travel up to 50% with overnight stays. Authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HVAC, electrical, mechanical or software with 2–5 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to analyze and solve moderately complex problems using technical judgment.
• In-depth knowledge of Building Management Systems and industry protocols.
• Travel up to 50% of annual time; overnight trips may occur.

Responsibilities

• Create complex programming using flow diagrams, sequences of operations and panel layouts.
• Program control applications using various software tools.
• Site startup, commissioning, and testing of control applications.
• Verify operation according to project specs and design docs.
• Develop and approve system graphics per specifications or proposals.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support to installers and customers.
• Conduct system evaluation and diagnostics; troubleshoot escalated issues.
