Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an on-site project leader to plan, implement, and complete control systems projects with assigned customers. You will handle hardware design, software programming, installation coordination, and commissioning, while ensuring profitable project delivery and strong client relations.

Ideal candidates will have a technical associate’s degree and hands-on experience in HVAC building automation, with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and work independently

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on experience in systems design and commissioning of digital HVAC controls.
• Ability to communicate technical material to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work independently and manage project tasks from start to finish.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and complete control systems projects with assigned customers.
• Coordinate hardware design, software programming, installation, commissioning, and project closeout.
• Manage project costs, billings, and collections to maintain profitability and cash flow.
• Provide direction to subcontractors and installation teams; ensure safety and compliance with standards.
• Develop project plans, allocate resources, and provide training to owner/operators as needed.
