Qualifications

• Technical associate degree with two years of field experience, or four years of equivalent related field experience in HVAC.
• HVAC experience with mechanical systems and DDC.
• Hands-on experience in design and commissioning of digital HVAC controls systems.
• Ability to communicate technical material to a non-technical audience.
• Ability to manage on-site project activity with limited supervision.
• Strong understanding of control theory and HVAC systems.
• Knowledge of project accounting, costing principles, and contracting.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site control systems projects to meet scope, schedule, quality, and financial goals.
• Oversee hardware design, system programming, installation coordination, commissioning, and closeout.
• Manage costs, billings, collections, profitability, and cash flow.
• Pursue change orders and assess impact of directives and scheduling changes.
• Coordinate customer communications through all project phases.
• Provide work direction to subcontractors, installers, designers, and admins as needed.
• Manage material selection, ordering, pricing, delivery, and subcontractor billing.
• Coordinate panel and field device locations and ensure alignment with specs.
• Complete loading, verification, commissioning, documentation, and system validation.
• Coach and assist technicians and designers on-site.
• Deliver site training to owners/operators and provide operation manuals.
