Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an on-site HVAC project leader to plan, execute, and close out control systems projects for assigned customers. You will manage technical execution, customer communication, subcontractor coordination, and project finances from kickoff to closeout.

The role demands 6+ years in HVAC/Controls, strong leadership, and hands-on design/commissioning experience. A Technical associate degree and excellent communication are preferred.

Qualifications

• Six years of HVAC/Controls field experience or equivalent.
• Hands-on design and commissioning experience for digital HVAC controls.
• Ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead control systems projects from planning to closeout.
• Manage costs, billings, and profitability while pursuing scope changes.
• Coordinate with customers, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Direct technicians, installers, designers, and administrative staff as needed.
• Oversee material selection, budget, and delivery schedules.
