Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a field-based technician to install building automation systems at customer sites. You will interpret drawings, install DDC and temperature control equipment, and coordinate with trades to ensure smooth onsite progress.

The role requires 2–5 years in HVAC/controls, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid driver's license. Competitive hourly pay, benefits, and ample travel are provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; technical training preferred.
• 2–5 years HVAC/controls experience; ABC apprenticeship desirable.
• Knowledge of low voltage electronics and direct digital controls.

Responsibilities

• Install building automation systems onsite at customer locations.
• Interpret control drawings and install temperature control equipment.
• Prepare for installation by coordinating with trades and gathering materials.
• Maintain inventory and document all activities and reports.
• Serve as primary company contact on projects and ensure customer satisfaction.
