Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking an HVAC/Controls Installer to install building automation systems at customer sites. You will interpret drawings, install temperature control systems, and coordinate with other trades while ensuring safety and quality.

The role requires a high school diploma, 2–5 years in HVAC/controls, and a valid driver’s license; travel is frequent, including overnight stays. Competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required; technical school preferred.
• 2–5 years of experience in HVAC/Controls installation.
• Knowledge of low voltage electricity, electronics (board level troubleshooting), direct digital controls, and building control techniques.

Responsibilities

• Install building automation systems and controls.
• Interpret drawings, plans and specs to install temperature control systems including conduit and wiring.
• Coordinate on-site work and safety with other trades.
• Maintain inventory and document activities and time on site.
• Serve as the direct customer contact and ensure customer satisfaction with serviced equipment.
