Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a field-based technician to install building automation systems at customer sites across the region. You will interpret control drawings, install temperature control hardware, and coordinate with trades to ensure smooth on-site work.

The position emphasizes safety, documentation, and timely reporting, with regular travel and potential overnight stays. A high school diploma and HVAC/Controls experience are required, with opportunities for apprenticeship participation.

Qualifications

• HVAC/Controls fundamentals and field installation knowledge.
• Ability to read control drawings, plans, and specs.
• Willingness to participate in ABC electrical apprenticeship program in the future.

Responsibilities

• Install building automation systems and related devices.
• Interpret drawings and install conduit, wiring, and enclosures.
• Prepare for on-site installation by reviewing layout and coordinating with trades.
