Job summary

Trane Technologies in Atlanta seeks an HVAC/Controls Installation Technician to install building automation systems, interpret drawings, and coordinate with trades on-site. The role includes preparing for installation, maintaining stock, and documenting work progress.

You will service equipment at customer sites, diagnose issues, and ensure satisfaction while upholding the highest safety standards. A high school diploma and 2–5 years of HVAC/controls experience are required.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years experience in HVAC/Controls
• Proficient with MS Office and handheld devices
• Knowledge of low voltage electronics and DDC controls
• ABC electrical apprenticeship participation is desired

Responsibilities

• Install building automation systems using conduits, enclosures, wiring and end devices.
• Interpret control drawings, plans and specs for accurate on-site work.
• Prepare for installation by reviewing site layout and coordinating with other trades.
• Maintain inventory and document time, progress and reports.
• Provide on-site service, diagnose and repair equipment; ensure customer satisfaction.
• Uphold safety standards and manage company assets on-site.
• Travel as required, with potential overnight stays.
