Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field with 3–5 years' estimating or construction experience.
• Experience with Building Automation, HVAC Controls, and HVAC systems.
• Strong financial acumen and history of delivering projects on time and on budget.
• Willingness to work overtime/weekends as required.
• Valid driver's license for at least 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment.
• Develop detailed scope from design-build plans for competitive bids.
• Create cost estimates with sketches, quotes, and vendor data.
• Take-off and price purchased equipment ensuring quantity accuracy.
• Hold pre-bid meetings to review scope and strategy.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and manage cost variations.
• Assist with out-sourced engineering needs and cost control.
