Job summary

You will review plans and specs, develop cost estimates for HVAC equipment, controls, and services, and support the sales team with competitive pricing and proposals. The role requires strong communication, reliability, and willingness to work on-site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associates degree in engineering, engineering technology, or related study; or 1–3 years’ related experience with estimating, PM, engineering, HVAC or construction management; or equivalent.
• Candidates without a 4-year degree are encouraged to apply; practical experience prioritized.
• Strong communication skills and proactive approach to work.
• Ability to prioritize tasks to meet tight deadlines in a high-paced environment.
• Familiarity with HVAC systems and/or temperature controls preferred.
• Willingness to work overtime/weekends as required.
• Valid driver's license for 12+ months with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Review plans and specifications and develop cost estimates for Trane materials, subcontractors, and labor.
• Provide knowledge and consultation for facility-related solutions to customers' problems.
• Determine project needs and constraints to meet HVAC system design and installation requirements.
• Develop, evaluate, and discuss solutions with Account Manager, Project Manager, Sub-contractor, Supplier, and customer.
• Coordinate selection, pricing, and integration of equipment, controls, and services for projects.
• Prepare, finalize, and review proposals; prepare equipment submittals and validate selections.
• Assist Account Manager in determining proposal price and project fulfillment schedule.
