Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an HVAC Controls Engineer to design, configure, and operate building control systems across our global portfolio. You will develop wiring diagrams, sequences of operations, and software to meet project requirements, coordinating with field teams to ensure quality and on‑time delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent with required experience.
• In-depth knowledge of HVAC, control theory, and building automation.
• Experience integrating low-voltage subsystems using LON/BacNet protocols.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and operate complete building control systems focusing on HVAC controls.
• Coordinate with field teams to ensure quality, timeliness and efficiency of designs.
• Develop software, commission, and troubleshoot building control systems for proper operation.
• Provide submittals and communication to customers, consultants, and installation teams.
• Create diagrams, sequences of operations, BOMs, network layouts, and schematics.
• Lead site commissioning, training, and handover with owner/operator teams.
• Support value engineering while maintaining customer satisfaction and safety.
