Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an HVAC Controls Engineer to design, configure, and commission building control systems for diverse projects. You will work with field teams to ensure quality, timeliness, and efficient operation of controls solutions.

Applicants should have an associate/technical degree with HVAC controls experience and strong knowledge of CAD drafting tools. Travel to job sites may be required to support customers and projects.

Qualifications

• Associated or technical degree with 3+ years of related HVAC controls experience.
• Knowledge of control theory and building automation systems from design to commissioning.
• Experience integrating low voltage building subsystems using industry protocols.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and operate complete building control systems focusing on HVAC controls.
• Coordinate drawings, equipment schedules, and sequences of operations for submittals.
• Develop software and test programs to ensure proper system operation.
• Assist in site commissioning and validation of system functionality.
• Maintain safety and quality standards across project delivery.
