Job summary

Johnson Controls International plc. is hiring for a role focused on designing and commissioning building control systems with emphasis on HVAC controls.

You will work with field teams to ensure quality and project timeliness, and you will develop software and diagrams to communicate system operation to clients and contractors. You will contribute to the loading and commissioning of controllers, validate system functionality, and maintain clear progress reporting across project teams.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent with two years of HVAC controls experience.
• Understanding of building automation systems from design to commissioning.
• Strong communication and ability to explain technical topics to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and operate complete building control systems focused on HVAC controls.
• Coordinate with field teams to ensure quality, timeliness, and efficient designs.
• Develop and test software programs to operate building control systems.
• Create drawings, BOMs, network layouts, and electrical schematics as required.
• Support commissioning and validation of system functionality with subcontractors.
• Provide progress updates and input data for collaborative dashboards.
