Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a field-based installer to set up building automation systems at customer locations. You will interpret control drawings, install temperature control devices, and coordinate with other trades while maintaining safety and documentation.

Applicants should have 2–5 years in HVAC/controls, knowledge of low-voltage electronics, and a valid driver’s license. Travel is required, with potential overnight stays as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required with 2–5 years HVAC/controls experience.
• Knowledge of low voltage electronics and direct digital controls is preferred.
• Valid driver's license with clean record; ABC electrical apprenticeship is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install building automation systems on customer sites and interpret drawings.
• Coordinate on-site activities with other trades and ensure safety standards.
• Maintain inventory, complete field paperwork, and document work progress.
• Provide service, diagnose issues, and repair equipment at customer locations.
