Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a driven HVAC Commercial Account Executive to lead sales efforts in the Boston market. You will identify opportunities, engage with contractors, engineers, and building owners, and promote JCI/York products to drive successful projects.

The role requires 3 years of HVAC product experience, a Bachelor’s in engineering or related field, and the ability to travel within the Boston area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or engineering-related field is required.
• 3 years of commercial or applied HVAC product experience and/or experience with refrigerants.
• Ability to read and understand construction documents.
• Understanding of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead the sales process to deliver a positive customer experience and strong business outcomes.
• Build customer rapport by presenting Johnson Controls products and services with confidence and clarity.
• Prepare accurate and complete sales proposals that align with customer needs and project scope.
• Support post-sale transitions by coordinating closely with the operations team.
• Educate prospective customers on the value of JCI/York HVAC solutions.
• Call on assigned accounts in line with company policy.
• Follow up on bids and leads to advance opportunities through the pipeline.
• Maintain accurate customer information in the CRM system.
• Participate in training on updated industry technologies and products.
• Support team members and peers in achieving KPIs and sales goals.
