Carrier Enterprise is seeking an experienced Commercial Sales Engineer in Chesapeake, VA to serve engineers, contractors, and owners with design, application, and sale of unitary HVAC systems and related materials through our distributor network.

The role focuses on growing sales, proposing designed solutions, and providing product training while collaborating with engineers and contractors. Full-time and part-time options are available, with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven technical sales in HVAC.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
• Solid understanding of HVAC principles.
• Proficiency with CRM/Database tools and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Contact and call on consulting engineers, mechanical contractors, architects, and owners to achieve annual sales and gross margin goals.
• Conduct sales, design, and application training to key decision makers.
• Work with specifying engineers and design-build contractors to help specify CE products.
• Create new business through organized prospecting and increase share of business from assigned territory.
• Conduct take-offs of plans and specifications; develop and price estimates, write proposals and bids.
• Participate in local and regional trade organizations and trade shows.
• Provide and/or coordinate technical and product training to customers.
