Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a field service technician to support the North America HVAC business from Orlando. You will help startups, commissioning, and aftersales service for chillers and air handling units, ensuring systems run efficiently and reliably.

Travel up to 20% may be required to support branch customers. A knowledge test is required, and ongoing training through JCI STA will expand product and sales quoting knowledge.

Qualifications

• Three+ years in residential/ducted HVAC, AHU, roof tops.
• Must repair centrifugal compressors, steam turbines, screw chillers components.
• Able to travel 10%–20% for startup, commissioning and service.
• Must pass a knowledge examination and enroll in training programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality service to resolve facility inefficiencies.
• Deliver solutions at commissioning and aftermarket service.
• Provide quotes to support recommendations.
• Communicate problems, causes and corrective actions clearly to customers.
