Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. seeks skilled HVAC Technicians to support North America’s fast-growing HVAC business. You’ll service residential and commercial systems, including air and water-cooled chillers, AHUs, and rooftop units, with factory STA training and union collaboration.

You will provide high-level service, write clear customer problem statements and remedies, and deliver quotes to support recommended solutions while prioritizing safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must be a member or willing to join the United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipe Fitting Industry of the United States, AFL-CIO.
• Minimum of three (3) years of practical experience on commercial or residential HVAC systems with chillers, AHUs or rooftop units.
• Able to troubleshoot and repair centrifugal and air-cooled chillers.
• Valid driver's license and applicable state/local licensing.
• Preferred Universal EPA refrigerants license.

Responsibilities

• Provide service and maintenance for residential and/or ducted HVAC products, air cooled and/or water-cooled chillers, AHUs or RTUs.
• Commission and service equipment; diagnose issues and resolve facility inefficiencies.
• Prepare quotes to support recommendations and upsell opportunities.
• Work collaboratively with local market mechanics and adhere to safety procedures.
