Job summary

Hawthorne Residential Partners is seeking dependable, motivated Maintenance Technician II to handle work orders, assist with preventative maintenance, and support day-to-day upkeep across the community. This role requires HVAC certification and working knowledge of routine repairs.

You will work a Monday–Friday schedule with on-call rotation, contribute to pool and grounds upkeep, and participate in our Total Rewards program and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School or GED equivalent.
• Two years of apartment maintenance experience preferred.
• Valid Driver's License, EPA/ HVAC Certification; CPO Certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and perform maintenance and repairs in a timely and professional manner.
• Assure all service requests are completed by Hawthorne standards.
• Repair and restore vacant apartments to make ready status in preparation for the next move-in as per company standard.
• Assist with pool maintenance and cleaning.
• Completion of preventative maintenance according to the guidelines outlined in company policy.
• Perform building and common area upkeep daily. Assist in keeping ground neat and free of litter, debris, and pet waste.
• Maintain shop appearance to facilitate quick assessment of supply inventory.
• Promote good professional relations with residents, co-workers, and company staff. Through the LIVE IT culture, always display a friendly and courteous attitude towards prospects, residents, vendors, and other employees. Always maintain professionalism.
• Conduct on-call emergency service rotation as scheduled
• Follow safety guidelines in accordance with OSHA and company policy and standards.
• Complete special projects as needed.
