Hawthorne Residential Partners is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician II to perform repairs and preventive maintenance across our communities in South Carolina. A HVAC certification and ability to handle routine repairs are required, with two years of apartment maintenance experience preferred.

Role includes on-call rotation, attention to safety, and a path for growth within our Learning and Development program. The company emphasizes the LIVE IT culture and strong resident relations.

Qualifications

• High School or GED equivalent required.
• Two years of apartment maintenance experience preferred.
• EPA/HVAC certification and valid driver’s license required; CPO certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and perform maintenance and repairs in a timely and professional manner.
• Ensure all service requests meet Hawthorne standards.
• Repair and restore vacant apartments to make-ready status for next move-in.
• Assist with pool maintenance and cleaning.
• Complete preventive maintenance according to company policy.
• Perform building and common area upkeep daily.
• Maintain shop to facilitate quick inventory assessment.
• Promote professional relations with residents, coworkers, and staff.
• Participate in on-call emergency service rotation.
