Job summary
Hawthorne Residential Partners in Knoxville, TN is seeking a Maintenance Technician III to handle complex work orders, mentor junior techs, and lead preventative maintenance efforts. HVAC certification and experience across electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair are required, with leadership experience preferred.
Eligible candidates will join a team focused on building and grounds upkeep, resident relations, and safety compliance, with a clear path to supervisory roles within the career
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 3 years in apartment maintenance or skilled trade.
- HVAC certification required; EPA certification and CPO preferred.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Supervisory or lead technician experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and perform maintenance and repairs in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure all service requests meet Hawthorne standards.
- Repair and restore vacant apartments to make-ready status.
- Assist with pool maintenance and cleaning.
- Complete preventative maintenance per company policy.
- Provide leadership, training, and mentoring to the maintenance team.
- Conduct on-call emergency service rotation as scheduled.
