Job summary

ProActivate in Austin seeks a Business Development Manager for Service Projects to own end-to-end pursuit strategy, manage key client accounts, and craft budgets that showcase technical credibility. You’ll collaborate with architects and engineers to steer design direction and help shape the division’s long-term trajectory.

The role targets leaders who will own their territory, grow revenue, and contribute to a lean, performance-driven employee-owned company culture.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in HVAC BD or adjacent vertical
• Track record of owning accounts and growing revenue consistently
• Technical credibility—talk chillers, rooftop units, BAS controls

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end pursuit strategy—market research, proposal development, pricing, negotiation, presentations
• Own client accounts and market segments, building relationships that drive revenue
• Create conceptual budgets and estimating packages that demonstrate technical credibility
• Partner with architects and engineers to guide design direction—position your team as the expert
• Shape business unit strategy—you’re building the division’s future
