ProActivate in Houston is seeking a Service Project Business Development Manager to hunt and close HVAC, electrical, and plumbing capital projects across the Austin/Central Texas market. Projects range from $50K to multi‑million dollars, with an average around $200K.

• 5–10+ years of industry experience in HVAC/electrical/plumbing.
• Proven ability to independently build pipelines and close capital projects.
• Strong presentation and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify, target, and develop net-new customer relationships within the territory.
• Build and execute business development plans aligned to Service Projects revenue goals.
• Conduct market and industry research to prioritize high-value opportunities.
• Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting through close.
• Develop and present estimates, proposals, and client presentations.
• Manage opportunity progression through procurement and closing stages.
• Serve as a trusted advisor on capital projects and system improvements.
