Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated in Bradley, IL seeks an HVAC Mechanic to operate, maintain, and repair BAS, HVAC/R, and related systems across assigned properties. You will troubleshoot equipment, document work, and support safety and uptime while providing proactive service.

The role requires 4+ years in building engineering, EPA 608 certification, and strong communication. A rotating 12-hour night shift is offered with a 2-on/2-off pattern on-site at Bradley.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of technical building engineering experience with strong HVAC/R, plumbing, and electrical maintenance knowledge.
• Minimum 3 years of field experience with trade school training OR 5 years of total field experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate, inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC/R systems including air handling units and related equipment.
• Respond to customer service requests related to indoor temperature and system performance.
• Perform preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and building systems to minimize downtime.
• Maintain accurate system documentation and update work orders in CMMS and SAP in real time.
• Identify safety hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Support interior and exterior repairs as needed; escalate issues to management as required.
