Job summary

Monarch Investment and Management Group seeks an HVAC Maintenance Technician for Timber Ridge Apartments in Abilene, TX. This on-site, full-time role requires strong HVAC skills and EPA certification, with duties spanning unit maintenance, basic repairs, and on-call support.

You will work 8:30 am–5:30 pm, Monday–Friday, with weekly on-call rotation. Benefit-rich package includes pay range $26–$28 per hour and performance bonuses.

Qualifications

• HVAC experience required.
• EPA certification required.
• Basic knowledge of drywall, painting, and carpentry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting, repairing, and installing HVAC units.
• Complete work orders in a timely manner based on priority.
• Perform additional repairs in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall at the property.

Location: Timber Ridge Apartments

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30 am - 5:30 pm, On-Call rotation 1 week every 3 weeks

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshooting, repairing, and installing HVAC units
• Complete work orders in a timely manner based on priority
• Additional repairs in property and apartment plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall
• Turning and making units ready in between tenant occupancy
• Assist in preventative maintenance as assigned
• Assist in coverage of a 24/7 emergency on-call system

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• HVAC experience required
• EPA certification required
• 3+ years experience in the maintenance field a plus
• Basic knowledge of drywall, painting, and carpentry experience
• Light plumbing and electrical experience
• CPO Certification preferred
• Boiler experience a plus
• Working knowledge of appliances to include washers and dryers
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation
