Monarch Investment and Management Group is seeking an Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our team at The Depot in Akron, OH. This hands-on role offers guaranteed full-time hours and a stable schedule with Monday through Friday 8 AM to 5 PM, plus on-call rotation every two weeks.

Competenze

• EPA Certification is required.
• HVAC troubleshooting and basic maintenance skills essential.
• General maintenance skills across plumbing, electrical, and appliances preferred.

Mansioni

• Complete all assigned work orders in a timely manner.
• Diagnose and repair HVAC issues and refrigerant leaks.
• Recharge freon gas and replace failing compressors/blower motors.
• Perform basic preventative maintenance like filter changes and coil cleanings.
• Handle non-HVAC repairs such as plumbing, electrical, and appliances as needed.
• Participate in monthly 24/7 on-call rotation (1 week every 2 weeks).
• Assist with snow removal during winter.

Monarch Investment and Management Group is seeking an Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our team in Akron, OH. This is a hands on maintenance position at The Depot community with guaranteed full-time hours!

Schedule:Monday - Friday 8 AM to 5 PM day shift hours.On call rotation is 1 week every 2 weeks.
Full Time - Year Round work. No layoffs and overtime potential available!

What you need:

• Valid driver's license Required
• EPA Certification Required
• Multifamily experience preferred, but all maintenance professionals are encouraged to apply

What Our Maintenance Technicians Will Do:

• Ensure all assigned work orders are completed in a timely manner.
• This position will focus on HVAC related work orders including:
• Diagnosing and repairing common HVAC issues
• Detecting and soldering refrigerant leaks
• Recharging freon gas
• Changing failing compressors and blower motors
• Replacing limit switches & fuses
• Other common HVAC problems.
• Performing basic preventative maintenance including filer changes and coil cleanings
• Depending on work load non-HVAC repairs may include:
• Plumbing
• Electrical
• Appliances
• Some unit turn maintenance and cleaning may also be required at times.
• Must participate in a monthly rotation of a 24/7 on call emergency cell phone (1 week every 2 weeks)
• Snow removal (when needed during the winter season).

You will be asked to complete a written skills maintenance test to help assess your skill level as part of the interview process.

This role requires pre-employment screenings that include a criminal background check, drug screening, and a valid Drivers License
