Job summary

Siemens Energy in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Project Engineer to design and execute AIS and GIS substations as part of EPC projects. You will develop design criteria, create design packages, and collaborate with sales and project management to address challenges and drive on-schedule delivery.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of electrical engineering experience, a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, and knowledge of HV equipment.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years in engineering roles within AIS/GIS Substations EPC.
• Understanding of high voltage AIS/GIS equipment and electrical engineering principles.
• Experience developing and reviewing technical documentation and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead high voltage AIS and GIS substation projects to deliver on time and on budget.
• Develop and review design criteria and design packages for construction and operation.
• Collaborate with sales, project management, and stakeholders to solve issues and improve outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards throughout project execution.
• Provide leadership to project teams to uphold Siemens Energy’s standards of excellence.
