Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Grid Integration Senior Project Manager to lead multi-million-dollar EPC substation programs, based in Raleigh, NC with relocation support. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field.
• 8+ years of project management experience in complex industrial, utility, infrastructure, or EPC environments.
• Experience leading high-voltage substation projects, transmission projects, or utility-scale EPC programs.
• Strong understanding of project financials, forecasting, contract management, and risk mitigation.
• Experience managing customer relationships on large capital projects.
• PMP certification preferred.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of complex EPC substation and grid integration projects.
• Manage scope, budget, schedule, risk, and customer expectations throughout project lifecycle.
• Drive coordination across engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and supply chain teams.
• Maintain project financial performance, including forecasting, cash flow, revenue recognition, and profitability.
• Utilize Earned Value Management and KPIs to drive execution excellence.
• Manage customer relationships and serve as primary escalation point for project delivery.
• Support contract negotiation, change orders, claims mitigation, and commercial strategy.
• Provide executive-level reporting and communication to stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and quality standards.
