Job summary

Siemens Energy in Raleigh seeks a Project Engineer to drive high voltage AIS and GIS substation EPC projects. You will design criteria, develop design packages, and collaborate with sales and project management to keep projects on schedule and within budget.

You bring 2–5 years in AIS/GIS engineering, HV knowledge, and strong documentation, analysis, and communication skills. This role emphasizes safety, EHS compliance, and a path to impact the energy transition.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years in engineering roles within AIS/GIS Substations EPC.
• Understanding of high voltage AIS/GIS equipment and electrical engineering principles.
• Proficient in engineering design, analysis, and implementation, including developing and reviewing technical documentation and specifications.
• Ability to create and evaluate engineering designs, ensuring compliance with standards and project requirements.
• Analytical skills to identify and resolve engineering challenges.
• Excellent verbal and written communication for collaboration with project teams and stakeholders.
• Experience ensuring environmental, health, and safety compliance in engineering practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field) and relevant certifications; HV-Substation design experience.
