Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• 3-7 years of experience in HV engineering, substation design, or power systems.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop detailed high-voltage substation designs.
• Create layouts, equipment specs, and single-line diagrams.
• Perform power system studies and protection coordination.
• Coordinate grid interconnection with utilities.
• Support construction, commissioning, and testing of substations and HV systems.
• Ensure compliance with NEC, IEEE, NESC standards.
• Prepare documentation and reports for stakeholders.
• Travel to project sites as needed.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers.
