Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking a leader to manage the GIS field service team and oversee high-voltage field service operations across the United States. You will drive service quality, customer responsiveness, and contract compliance while coordinating with Sales to pursue business opportunities.

You will establish goals, implement efficient operating plans, and ensure safety and policy compliance. The role may be performed remotely from anywhere in the United States and requires travel as noted.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Eight to ten years of relevant industry experience in electrical power, energy, utility, industrial, infrastructure, or related technology sectors.
• Three years of people management experience in a project-based environment.
• Experience with high-voltage installation, commissioning, repair, and testing activities.
• Experience with Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint, and SAP; knowledge of up to 800 kV equipment and GIS/GCB technologies preferred.
• Fluent English communication and willingness to travel domestically 30–40% and internationally 5%.

• Develop customer relationships and collaborate with Sales on opportunities.
