Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Field Service Engineer to provide technical support for Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) across the United States. You will work directly at customer substations and power facilities, ensuring safe and reliable operation, troubleshooting issues, and managing onsite activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-4 years of relevant experience in engineering and/or construction environments.
• Sound understanding of electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Ability to manage onsite conflict situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support throughout all phases of GIS project execution.
• Manage troubleshooting efforts involving field personnel and subcontractors.
• Coordinate and communicate with internal teams and customers.
