Job summary

Hitachi Energy in Mount Pleasant, PA, seeks a senior GIS field service manager to lead the field service team handling high-voltage equipment, establish goals, and oversee operations, safety, contracts, and customer satisfaction. Location supports remote work within the US.

You will coordinate with Sales and operations, drive productivity, provide technical guidance to executives, and ensure compliance with policies and health and safety guidelines while expanding service opportunities.

Qualifications

• Work authorization to work in the United States.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 8–10 years in electrical power/utility/industrial sectors with 3+ years of people management.
• Experience with high-voltage installation, commissioning, repair, testing, SF6 handling.
• Experience with SAP, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office 365; knowledge of GIS and related tech.

Responsibilities

• Lead the GIS field service team and own its performance.
• Set organizational goals and cost-effective operating plans.
• Oversee high-voltage field service operations, service quality, and contractual compliance.
• Develop customer relationships and pursue business opportunities with Sales.
• Coach and develop staff, manage performance, and ensure safety compliance.
