Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking an Acceptance HV/MV Testing Technician Level 1 for remote work with extensive travel to diverse job sites. You will perform acceptance testing, commissioning, troubleshooting and reporting for substation, BESS and PV facilities.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED or equivalent is required.
1–3 years' experience as an electrician testing technician in substations or BESS yards.
Ability to travel up to 75% of the time.
Strong safety awareness and adherence to procedures.
Good verbal and written English communication.

Responsibilities

Prioritize safety and enforce company and industry standards.
Perform acceptance testing and commissioning of substation, BESS and PV equipment.
Ensure a safe working environment through strict safety adherence.
Prepare timely documentation and required reports.
Assemble, write, and review complete test reports of work performed or supervised.
Manage multiple jobs simultaneously and coordinate with clients and teammates.
Assess safety and technical skills of other technicians.
Train and supervise technicians and trainees when needed.
Maintain test plans and use test equipment per SOPs.
