Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Minimum 1-3 years of experience as an electrician testing technician in substations or BESS yards.
• Ability to travel 75% of time.
• Demonstrated ability to recognize work hazards and mitigate using proper tools and procedures.
• Effective verbal and written English language communication skills.
• Effective organizational skills.
• Ability to work at remote locations in extreme weather conditions.
• Ability to work on an on-call basis (may include weekends or after-hours).
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate company vehicle.
• CPR/First Aid training.
• Job Safety Analysis.
• Electrical Testing Standard Operating Procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform acceptance testing and commissioning of equipment in substations, BESS and PV facilities.
• Ensure safe working environment by adhering to safety standards.
• Prepare timely and accurate documentation and required reports.
• Assemble, write, and review test reports of work performed or supervised.
• Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and teammates.
• Handle multiple jobs simultaneously and oversee others as needed.
