Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking an Acceptance HV/MV Testing Technician Level 1 to perform testing, commissioning, troubleshooting and repair in substations, BESS and PV facilities. The role is remote with heavy travel to varying jobsites, with support from Technicians and Trainees.

Requirements include 1–3 years as an electrician testing technician in substations or BESS yards, high school diploma or GED, and ability to travel 75% of the time. CPR/First Aid training is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of electrician testing technician experience in substations or BESS yards.
• Ability to travel 75% of the time.
• Strong English written and verbal communication skills.
• CPR/First Aid training or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Execute testing, commissioning, troubleshooting and repair activities in substations, BESS and PV facilities.
• Perform acceptance testing and commissioning of equipment.
• Complete a job with the assistance of Technicians and Trainees.
