Zusammenfassung

Integrated Power Services (IPS) is seeking an experienced electrical power field technician to inspect, test, troubleshoot, and collect data on high-voltage systems up to 500kV. You will perform transformer and relay testing, switchgear assessments, and on-call responses while traveling locally and overnight.

The role requires 5+ years of relevant experience, a valid driver’s license, and NETA certification preferred.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Associate degree from an accredited 2-year technical college in Electrical Power, or equivalent military training preferred.
• Must have at least 5 or more years of relevant experience.
• NETA Certification (III or IV) highly preferred or equivalent skills/experience.
• OSHA 30 hour, MSHA, NFPA 70-E, CPR/First Aid/BBP/AED training is preferred.
• Must have at least 3 years of experience operating a vehicle with a valid, unrestricted driver's license.

Aufgaben

• Instrument transformer tests.
• Power transformer testing—Doble, TTR, Insulation Resistance, etc.
• Test both electro-mechanical and solid state relays.
• Cable testing—Tan Delta, Power Factor, VLF, DC Hipot.
• Automatic transfer switch troubleshooting.
• Low, Medium and High voltage switchgear and circuit breaker testing.
• Rotate emergency on-call duty and respond to customer emergencies.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Adhere to all electrical safety procedures.
